Miklos and me sit up the train, it started at pm01:00, it was good. The packages were heavy again, with full of Insulators.
The beer was warm with the weather also, we cooled them with the air condition near the windows :-)
The train went cross Slovakia and Czechia, and after that passed to Poland. Poland was interesting to us, we have been there at first time, we glued onto the
windows and we see the Insulators and poles.
The train lated 2.5 hours, because in Warszawa's suburban area the all signals were red.. I was very angry, the EuroCity and the InterCity trains can not late more than 20 minutes.. Michal and his father
waited to us 3 hours..

We arrived, Michal's father carried us by his car to Michal's home, the 3rd town near Warszawa, about 5 km. We had canle light diner, because there was not at that time electricity. Before our arriving there was a very big storm, and the trees destroyed some wires..
After it we went to the motel. We had to go and search and bath in the dark.. At next day the electricity came back, and Michals father carried us to Shopen's birth house. We visited it, and after we visited Michal's collection. Photor will be here later.. On the photo is Shopen's birth house.

Oh, and we are here. Michal's father, Michal, and his girlfriend behind him, and Miklos. It is garden of Shopen's house.
Michal and Miklos are talking about the Insualtors. We could talk about everything, Michal has nice Insulators and electronics stuff.
We went there the best time.. they are renewing their house..
After it we packed out Michal's extra Insulators, he has enough... :-) It is the first part what we carried home. This heap include Miklos's Mine and Bob Scafe's Canadian part.
These Insulators are populary Polish, but who know Poland's history, we can find there old German and old Russian Insulators..
After it we went into Warszawa with hoping to find Insulators. The mass tranzit is good there and really cheap (half than in Budapest).
We saw lot of free poles, but the climbing is not the best thing in the city, we could only see. Here is a pole with full of free small porcelain Insulatosrs.
It is in the city also. Bad for think, we can not get thesre Insulators... |
Function Changing... We are waliking is Warszawa. Michal went in all companies, houses to ask the Insulators, or enable to climb the poles, but we didn't have luck. |
But a place we had luck, an owner had two Insulators in his workshop, and he gived them to us. After the walking we went in a pub, and we drink a beer. |
At next day I took some photos from Michal's collection. Here is he with his a part of collection. |
Another part.. |
And an another part. |
Here are some pictures about Warszawa. It is a beautiful city and new one. At the WW2 the nazis destroyed all of te city, and after it was rebuilt on base of old drawings, descriptions.. |
An another picture about Warszawa's central |
And a new funny stuff: Big Match! I laughed on it much.. |
Michal's family likes to collect old stuff. Here is a very funny stuff, a bulb with the Kreml and red-star for the SU's 50th anniversary. The Russians are very inventive.. They showed us lot of old interesting and funny stuff:
Mechanical calculator, bullet cases, and the best: small glass vodka, than a tin. You can buy it from drink machines in Moskow'a streets.. No mineral water or coke.. Vodka! :-)
Now, if somebody have a collection from communist stuffs, he/she have very high value.

At next day Michal's father carried us to a park, where was an old line. At that park are old weapons and war memory things. But the old telephone line was not there, but the park was good.
I have never seen tanks, big weapons an cannons. Here is the tank's pipe. The children enjoy this park, and it is good to camping, picnic, etc.
Ah, at the next place we found a free pole on good place. Michal climbed, and got. This place is under an very old castle, we climbed lown the hill, and we found this pole.
Michal's father carried us everywhere, many thanks for him. And his girlfriend accompany us also, and she came in the buch also to find Insulators.
the next trip was a hunting near a railroad. Michal's father carried us to a station, and we walked to ne next station, and he waited us there with pizza. Here is a terminal pole of that line.
The line was removed, the steel wires and the Insulators are in the bush. The wires drived us to the Insulators. Bad thing: the linemen remove the wires: a bang to the Insulator with hammer, and the wire are free...
We found lot of broken Insulators... But we had nice find.
There are some old derelict military buildings with old Insulators. Michal are picking one very rare Insulator from the wall. We could remove them, but unfortunately they got some chip... :-(
I should make an Insulator picker for this like situations..
Here are we, with Insulators, what we found. Here are I, Miklos and Michal. We found a rare clear NIEMEN Insulator in Miklos's hand. We found a full bag Insulatos, it was good hunting. |
We went by car, and what we look.... Unfortunately, they don't change the Insulators, only wire controll. |
The heap of Insulators with the found ones, We carried them home all... Heavy bags again.. |
At last evening we sit down to talk with some beers. Miklos and Michal. |
And some poles. Here is a general Polish 230/400 V pole with common glass CD-470.1s |
It is a general Plish pole with mix porcelains. There the common glass and porcelains are mixing very high. |
A general Polish pole with common porcelain spools |
A general Polish 18 kV pole. Intereszting, the concrete buck (A) poles have very wide splay. |
The Insulators arrived to Budakeszi, Miklos's home. There is mine and Miklos's part, we took to other place Bob Scafe's part |
The Insulators are in my home in clean. They needed high cleaning work.. But they are beautuful. |
