Meeting and Insulator Hunting with Guido
I went to Italy so meet with Guido. That was my first meeting with an real Insulator collector, we spent a very nice time there. We swapped lot of Insulators and information. Guido educated to me lot of modes of cleaning, collecting and everything, he is a very nice collector and we went to a great huntings We went near Milan hingways where were lot of falled and wire free poles...

WHEN I CLIMB A POLE, I REMOVE THE WIRE FREE USELESS INSULATORS FOR MY COLLECTION, I DON'T HURT THE LIVING PARTS! I DON'T WANT TO MAKE LOSS AND DAMAGE FOR ANYBODY!! I CLIMB MOSTLY DEAD AND ABANDONED POLES! I CLIMB POLES FOR MY OWN RESPONSIBILITY, I AM ELECTRIC ENGINEER!! Zoltan Drinoczi
Our first finds. We found fallen 20 kV poles. The Insulator remowing was very easy because of the metal threads in the pinholes.. These are my firs big glass Insulators in my collection. Very nice Insulators.

A telephone pole "before and after me". Guido asked from me: "Do you want to climb or I do?" I climbed it. It was interesting. I climbed up with ladder. I am on the pole. Guido took these photos. Please click on the picture for better ones.
